WEBSITE & WAITLIST PRIVACY · UPDATED 14 OCTOBER 2026
Your email.
Your choice.
This notice covers this landing page and its launch waitlist. It does not describe personal information entered inside The Dad App, which has its own privacy information.
Who looks after your information?
Brandon Mojica operates The Dad App. For privacy questions or to leave the waitlist, email hello@getthedadapp.com.
What do we collect?
If you join, we store the email address you provide and a record of your agreement to receive launch emails. Our hosting and database providers may also process technical request information to operate and protect the service. The signup service stores a daily pseudonymous email identifier and short rate-limit counters to reduce abuse. It does not store IP addresses in the waitlist database. Older counters are removed in bounded batches when later signups are processed.
Why do we use it?
We use your email to send news about The Dad App’s launch, based on the consent you give by ticking the box. We do not sell the waitlist or use it to send unrelated marketing. Joining does not create an app account.
Where is it stored?
The waitlist uses Supabase to store submitted details and queue an internal notification for each new signup. Resend processes the signup email address to send that notification to our hello inbox, hosted with Google Workspace. This helps us manage the launch waitlist; it does not send a confirmation email to you. Internal notification records are removed with your waitlist entry. Copies in our business inbox and delivery-provider logs follow those services’ retention settings and are reviewed when handling removal requests. The public website cannot read the list. Service providers process information on our behalf to run the website and waitlist.
How long do we keep it?
We keep waitlist details while organising and communicating the launch, and review whether they are still needed after launch. If you withdraw consent or ask to leave, we will remove your waitlist entry.
Your choices
You can withdraw consent, ask for a copy of your waitlist information, or request correction or deletion by emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before your request. You can raise a privacy concern with your local data protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
This page does not add analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. Fonts are hosted with the website. Your browser and any email app you open operate under their own settings and privacy notices.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we handle waitlist information changes. Please check the date above.
